Baby Emmalyn is Here!!

That's right baby Emmalyn has finally arrived into our loving arms. She was born October 3, 2010 @ 8:33pm! She weighed 7lbs 7oz which is pretty average and a very healthy weight. She was 20 inches long. Emmalyn has tons of beautiful dark brown hair and memorizing dark blue eyes. She is perfect. She is 2 weeks old tomorrow and has been a very happy easy baby. I have no idea how I have been so lucky to have two happy babies. She never crys unless she is hungry and thats it.

The night of October 2, 2010 I was having servere pain worse then It has been in the past couple weeks. At that time my firend Kelsey was at the hospital and just found out that they are keepin her and allowing for her little girl to be born. Which was very exciting!! Well the next day I went to go see her around noon with my mom and my sister. Hoping that holding a newborn would help Emmalyn to come. After a couple hours of being there we decided it was time to go but before we did Newborn Ariana started to cry and I started to cramp.

I was already planning on talking to the nurse about all the pain I had been feeling. They decided to hook me up and moniter me for awhile. When they checked me I was dialated to a 5 so half way there and they could see that I was contracting a little. So they kept me and said "your going to have a baby today" I was so excited. Once I got settled into my room for the entire stay my mom left to go get Mike and Andrew.

By the time they made it back I had made it to 8cm without pitcoin. Which they were planning on giving me to help me progress quicker. But I was far enough and prgressing enough to go without it. By the time everyone made it back to the hospital It was epidural time and with in the half hour Emmalyn was born! We had only minor complications. My blood pressure kept dropping but other then that it went perfectly and I remember every last bit of the experiance unlike when Andrew was born.

We were released Oct 5, 2010 and have been enjoying life at home with our two kiddos ever sense. 704174589

39 weeks

We are 39 weeks as of today!! Emmalyn its time to come :)

We went to the Doctors yesterday and we are dialated between 3-4 still. I did get my membrane stripped, which is where the Dr. seperates the water sack from the uteran wall to help the body start labor itself. Well ever since the Dr. did that I have been cramping and I do believe I had a contraction last night. My body has also been showing the proper signs that it is working. It can take 24-48 hours to start and we have 24 more to go, so we still have time where we could be having a baby here soon! :)

We did get our Maternty/Family pictures today in the mail and I will share a few of my favorties! My wonderful cousin Misty Jenson took these for us on my birthday Sept. 3. She does a wonderful job at taking beautiful pictures. She does them professionally and you should take a look at her blog!
