Summer 2010

Well it has been a couple months since I updated our blog so here it goes. As of July 2010 Mike and I have been together for 6 years. Crazy to think about how long we have been together. We have never experienced even a small brake up. We have come close a few times but we always manage to work things out together and become closer together then before!

August: Mike and Andrew came with me to Slumber Parties Utah family picnic and we all had a blast. There was hot dogs, hamburgers and grilled chicken for lunch. Bounce house, face painting, bubbles, so many fun activities for the kids. Of course the bounce house was Andrew's favorite! They also handed out a ton of free logo items, footballs, Frisbees, shirts, and some other fun stuff. We also did a drawing for a huge water cooler, and I won! I was so awesome they only gave away 6 of them. I also signed my first recruit this month. :)


August 21, 2010 32 weeks & 6 days

September: I spent my 23rd birthday with Mike and Andrew. It was such a great day. First of all we drove to American Fork to my cousin's salon and she colored, cut and styled my hair and did an amazing job. Then we met up with my cousin Misty and she took pictures for our family/maternity pics! I can't wait to see them. Then for dinner we went to the Lehi Texas Roadhouse one of my new favorite restaurants, their loaded baked potato is to die for. This month is always a busy month for me. I have 3 birthdays, peach days, 2 baby showers (one which is for me :) ) a Slumber party, and a court sentencing that I will be attending to support a very close friend of mine. 5 doctor appointments, 3-4 dentist appointments, and a monthly meeting. Then who knows how many other things will appear last min.


September 6, 2010 35 weeks & 3 days.

Emmalyn is doing great August 26, 2010 She measured 4lbs 6oz. and right on target, she is also head down getting ready for delivery. She is still fairly active, she doesn't kick as much as she feels like she is rotating. She feels heavier each and every day. Our next appointment is Sept. 9. we only have 4 weeks and 3 days until she is due to arrive.

Andrew is as active as ever. He randomly comes asking me for hugs and loving on my belly, he tells me all the time that he loves his sister. He is so sweet, however the closer we get to her arrival the more he seems to be a terror. He loves to push his boundaries to the limit, I guess that is normal for his age as well as an expecting brother. He will soon be 3 years old. Our little boy is getting to be so big! He is Mr. Independent, he loves to help with the vacuuming and laundry and he is a help vs added trouble. He is having less and less night time accidents as long as we keep him on his schedule with is drink intake and potty time before bed.

He is starting to complain about his legs again, so I am thinking about bringing it up to the Dr. at his 3 year well child check to make sure it is just his growing pains. His eczema is getting pretty bad again. Other then that he is well, besides the typical bumbs bruises and goose eggs little boys get.

Mike has bought a guitar is practicing every chance he can and he is actually pretty good.

But that's what has been going on!
